Imoutolicious LNT is a recreational blog dedicated to the translation and review of Korean light novels that are not yet widely known to the English-speaking demographics. ...and for them cute little sisters!

Due to our relatively small staff, we are not as active as other light novel translation groups in terms of our releases. Please take note that Korean light novels are easily twice as long and text-heavy in comparison to the Japanese ones. Our group is always open to new translators and editors. For all application inquiries and further questions, please contact [imoutoliciouslnt@gmail.com].

Overall we're quite laid-back and carefree, but we do get around to our release whenever we aren't occupied with real-life. At our blog, good things come to those who wait. So please, all in good time!

Please note that we do not provide raws to the public. They are strictly for our translators.

  1. If anything, know that you have my support, and if you do any work, reviews, or translations... Castanea is your fan and be there as a supportive fan. =)

    1. Thanks, it's good to know that you're there for us~♡

  2. i thought LN is from japan, am i wrong?
anyone can give me an explanation.

    sorry for bad english

    1. Although the term is Japanese, I reckon it does not necessarily have to originate from Japan to be legitimately classified as a light novel.

  3. Are the Japanese terms in the translation actual Japanese terms written in Korean? (Like onii-sama/imouto)

  4. Hey can I be an editor? I'm proficient in Korean because I was born in Seoul and moved to the US in 6th grade. I love light novels and currently am trying to find a way to practice Korean.

    1. Hello Meh,

By all means you are welcome be an editor, but I think you meant "translator". Just to clarify, raw files are only given to our translators.

Let's move our correspondence to e-mail. Please reply back to our group e-mail address, imoutoliciouslnt@gmail.com, at your convenience.

  5. hi i am willing to become an editor for this light novel i speak and read english perfectly as i live in england

  6. Why did you translate the words like 'Yeodongsaeng'(younger sister in Korean) or Oppa(brother in Korean) into the ones in Japanese? I thought it was written in Japan and imported to Korea.

    1. Hmm? If it was written in Japan and imported to Korea, wouldn't it make sense to translate the terms into Japanese?

If this is about Sekaimo, here's our answer. Also, as said by this Anon, because the whole phenomena are unique.

  7. Thank you for everything you do I just found this site and I love it so much!

  8. Hello,

I would gladly like to help, if I somehow can. I would be an editor, if anything.

I am decent with my English language concerning things such as vocabulary and grammar. Depending on whether you have spots open or not, I would still like to know more about the role of an editor when it comes to LNs.

You can reach me at HideBehindDaryl.gmail.com~

  9. I want to say, I can't read a word of Korean, so really thanks to all translators, editors and other staff for bringing us all those Korean light novels. Looking forward to more great releases from you guys. Happy 2014!

  10. Thank you for translation. Is there any group which is translating korean LN in Japanese?
    Thanks again

  11. Just to let you know that the community is still enjoying your translations. Thank you for your hard work!

  12. Where do you get your Korean light novels? Amazon? Korean Amazon? Thank you!

    1. You can get them online at websites like YES24 and Aladdin.

  13. What happened to your Overlord translations? Did you decide to stop for some reason?

    1. Overlord was an unofficial project. Skywood has taken the charge of the series.

  14. I realize that you're not doing Overlord anymore, but while reading them, I have noticed some translation errors. Nothing that's makes it incomprehensible but several occurrences per chapter. If you would like a proofreader, I am happy to help. I can't speak any japanese but I can tell you whether or not the english makes sense.

  19. Hi, this is Jim from Hummingbird, and I'm trying to get in touch with people who were on the Hummingbird anime forums a while back. We're working on a big 10-year reunion project, and the deadline is on Monday August 21st 2023!

I believe one or more of you were on Hummingbird back in the day. Won't name names, since I'm not sure how anonymous you guys are trying to stay. But if anyone in the group sees this, please show it to the others, including this announcement video which has all the details you'll need including how to contact me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXsZfOtzSQc
